Every conviction on Lumin is sealed.
On Lumin, members show conviction by backing the posts they believe in with Lumin tokens. We call this staking.
To prove these records are genuine, we seal them. Once a day, Lumin takes all of that day’s staking records, turns them into a unique code called a fingerprint, and publishes it on Base, a public blockchain. A blockchain is a shared record that nobody can edit once something is written to it, including us.
How it works
You back a post
Your stake is recorded on Lumin, along with a fingerprint of the post as you read it.
Lumin seals the day
All of the day's records are combined into one fingerprint and published once a day.
Anyone can check
Paste a record's fingerprint below to confirm it belongs to a sealed day.
